Relationship & Parenting Issues
Research shows that the quality of our relationships with partners, family, children, and friends contribute greatly to our happiness. But at times, our closest relationships can cause us some difficulties. Traumatic Experiences
Trauma can have a lasting impact on how we relate to the world around us. Lisa provides a safe and supportive space to process difficult experiences at your own pace, helping you understand the effects of trauma and develop strategies to recover and rebuild stability.
Illness & Injury
A diagnosis or physical injury can affect far more than the body — it can challenge your identity, relationships, and sense of the future. Lisa supports individuals adjusting to the emotional and psychological impact of illness or injury, helping you build resilience and find a way forward that feels manageable.
Work-Related Challenges
Work stress, burnout, career uncertainty, and workplace conflict can affect all parts of your life. Lisa has extensive experience in supporting adults in a wide range of jobs and workplaces, and can help you manage pressure, set boundaries, problem-solve, and better balance the demands of work and private life.
AdjustmentTransitions
Major life changes — whether planned or unexpected, joyful or not — can unsettle even the most resilient person. Lisa supports adults navigating transitions such as career changes, relationship shifts, becoming a parent, or moving through different life stages, helping you find clarity and a sense of direction during times of change.
Grief & Loss
Loss takes many forms — bereavement, relationship breakdown, job loss, or significant life change. Lisa provides a supportive space to process grief and explore what it means for you, helping you find a way through at your own pace and in your own time.
Sleep Difficulties
Sleep difficulties can affect your mood, concentration, energy levels, and wellbeing. Lisa can assess the nature of your sleep difficulties, and guide you with practical strategies to resolve them. She uses a cognitive-behavioural approach to treating sleep problems with the aim of building healthy sleep habits, increasing sleep duration, improving quality of sleep, and reducing worry and rumination around sleep.
