Lisa’s Philosophy

Lisa's philosophy is to understand your unique experiences, vulnerabilities, and strengths — collaborating with you to identify your goals, and tailoring therapy to best meet your needs.

Therapy can be practical, solution-focused, and time-limited if you want to work on specific issues, or longer-term if you wish for more exploratory therapy.

An Important Note

Lisa believes the therapy hour provides a rare opportunity for both client and therapist to detach from the online world.

For this reason, she excludes AI from the therapy process and does not use AI tools in her clinical work — including any tasks related to:

  • Session notes (recording, scribing, dictation, drafting)

  • Case formulation and diagnosis

  • GP reports and correspondence.

For administration and telehealth, Lisa uses secure practice management software that is compliant with the Australian Privacy Act and Principles.  Similarly, any online assessments are administered through a secure and compliant platform.
